In my research, I focus on the use of CO2 as a solvent and a reactant, and especially, how to control the electrochemical reactions of CO2. If sufficient control can be achieved to enable reversible electrochemical transformations, then the applications may extend beyond chemical synthesis, and this may lead to development of a new paradigm for technologies such as energy storage devices.
